You need to start with coming to the pool on Fridays, meet us and join us! We'll have more information for you! And we'll keep this page updated with messages! What do you need to bring at the pool? You need to bring your swimsuit, towel and other pool related things. For the rest, there are boats, PFDs, paddles and helmets available. Can I bring a friend? Yes, we want people interested in paddling to join us so we can become a big strong club! Are you excited yet? Come out on Friday! There's also a message about a parent meeting on May 3rd: We will have teen/parent meeting next Friday May 3 at 7pm in the Pool meeting room at Canada Games Center. Please come with your parents and please confirm you are coming. More details coming. Check out the Facebook Page - Whitehorse Youth Paddling Group - for more information. Parents/ guardians and students, here is an updated calendar for May and June of our SASE program. I have had to make a few date changes - the backpacking and kayak trip dates have changed in addition to the associated prep days. We will be interspersing outdoor climbing days between the last three trips in late May/ June - apparently winter hasn't released its hold on us quite yet so we won't be climbing outside next week! Have a great weekend and email me if you have any concerns.
Science websites: today we watched the following video clips on human reproduction from www.babycentre.ca if you missed them due to DART testing or absence:
Hi folks. All of the links to the social studies film questions have been updated to include Kim's questions from episode 1...she's got some good ones so have a look before Tuesday.
Study questions for Tuesday's test on Episode 1 (How the World Began) and Episode 2 (Adventurers and Mystics) of Canada: A People's History are available.
Kristen and Trent, I have not received your submissions. I will be using some questions exactly as they appear and will re-work others so they stand on their own. |
